Audrey Hendricks, PhD

Website
Dr Hendricks research is highly collaborative and interdisciplinary, living at the intersection of data science, ’omics, and biomedicine with the goal of developing and applying statistics and machine learning methods to better understand the complex nature of human health and disease. The Hendricks Research Team has three active areas of research: (1) increasing the utility of genetic and genomic summary data, (2) developing food biomarkers and a mechanistic understanding of the biology behind diets and human health, and (3) elucidating the genomic underpinnings of health and disease. Dr. Hendricks is deeply committed to supporting and training scientists, statisticians, and researchers within her team and beyond.

Joshua French, PhD

Website
Dr French is currently the Director of Data Science at the University of Colorado Denver and an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences. He is passionate about using statistics and data science to learn from data, developing software to help others learn from data, and training others to do data analysis.

Leslie Lange, PhD

Website
Dr. Lange’s research focuses on the genetic epidemiology of complex traits, primarily regarding cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes and pulmonary related phenotypes. Particular areas of focus include genetics studies in understudied minorities and facilitating large multi-study genetic collaborations. She is currently involved in several genetic consortia, including the Trans-Omics for Precision Medicine (TOPMed) Program, the Cohorts for Heart and Aging Research in Genomic Epidemiology (CHARGE) and Accelerating Medicines Partnership for Type 2 Diabetes (AMP T2D). She is a co-investigator in the Jackson Heart Study (JHS), a longitudinal study of African Americans from Jackson, MS, and I co-lead the JHS Genetics committee. She also works with data from a number of other studies, including the Cardiovascular Health Study (CHS), Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA), and the REasons for Geographic and Racial Differences in Stroke (REGARDS) study.

Niles Gilmore (Program Manager)

Niles is a Research Assistant in the Lange Lab and the Program Manager for the PATH-GDS Program. They are currently pursuing a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Community & Behavioral Health. They’re passionate about social determinants of health and their impacts on community health.
